Lasers first, your hand as backup
iPhone Pro models measure the piece with LiDAR, the most accurate option. On any other iPhone, photograph your hand on a grid once and every in-hand shot after that carries a known scale for the photo estimate.
Shipping worked out
Packed size and weight once the pot is wrapped, with a suggested padding allowance, ready for the shipping profile.
Your inventory as a table
Turn the phone sideways for every piece's full details in one sortable table: status, price, decoration uplift, type, dimensions. Sort by any column, search across all of it.
Pricing that reflects your work
You set the model: an experience tier (emerging, established or gallery), a base price per cubic inch and markup, and a price range for each pottery type. The AI suggests inside those, and the number stays yours to change.
No ads, no trackers
No advertising, no third-party analytics, nothing sold on. Etsy sign-in happens on Etsy's site; your password never touches the app.

Do I need an iPhone Pro?
No. Pro models (12 Pro and newer) measure with LiDAR. Every other iPhone gets dimension estimates from your photos, sharpened by a ruler, a grid mat, or your hand reference.
Is it free?
Yes, during the beta. AI usage is metered per account and shown in Settings, so nothing is ever a surprise later.
Do I have to use Etsy?
No. Etsy, Instagram and Facebook are optional connections. Fair, shop and commission sales are logged by hand against the same inventory.
Will the descriptions sound generic?
They are drafted from your own notes on the clay, glaze and form, using templates you tune once. You read every word before posting and can change any of it.
Android? Web? App Store?
Not yet. Kiln to Cart is an iPhone app in invite-only beta, installed through TestFlight, Apple's app for trying beta apps.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Pieces captured without a connection save to the phone and upload automatically when you are back in range. AI features run once the piece has synced.
What happens to my photos?
They are stored to display your inventory and to generate listings, and processed by an AI provider for that purpose only. No ads, no cross-app tracking, nothing sold. Ask and the whole account is deleted.
How do I get in?
Email support@kilntocart.com. A person replies with a link that installs the app and finishes sign-up in about five minutes.

Tim has thrown pots since 2000 and builds data systems by day. Kiln to Cart exists because the pieces stacking up at home were the ones he had not listed yet. Read why he built it.
